TELL SECRETARY TOM VILSACK THAT THE USDA MUST ENFORCE CLEAR REGULATION AND LABELING FOR GENE-EDITED PRODUCTS
Don’t be deceived by the biotech industry’s misleading claims about gene editing. They want to introduce these techniques into our food supply and environment without proper safety measures, labeling, or oversight.
It’s time to take action and hold them accountable. Let’s ensure that the USDA, the governing body responsible for regulating our food, recognizes the trust and acts in the best interest of consumers.
In our letter to the Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, we invite him to watch our thought-provoking six-minute animated film titled, “Seven Reasons Why Gene Editing is Dangerous and Unpredictable.” This film encapsulates key insights and findings, compelling us to urgently call for robust regulation and mandatory labeling of these potentially hazardous gene edited products.
